Image was taken on a Olympus FV1000 confocal microscope fitted with a programmable stage which allows a series of images to be taken and then merged into one large image.
This image was made with our chicken polyclonal antibody to mylein basic protein (MBP), CPCA-MBP in green and our mouse monoclonal to neurofilament light chain (NF-L) MCA-1B11 in red. Blue is the DNA intercalating agent DAPI, which is in the Vestashield mounting medium we normally use (Vector labs Cat#1200). Sections were cut at 25μM on a vibratome after perfusion and fixation in paraformaldehyde as described here.
